  • Yes, you can definitely register on the day. Just come to the Registration marquee from 8:30am to register.

  • There is no minimum age. The event is open to the whole family. Children under 4 years are free. We just ask that you register all participants.

  • Hopefully, we are blessed with good weather. If it is raining on the day of the event, we encourage the use of umbrellas, ponchos or raincoats. Depending on the severity of the weather a decision will be made on the day of the event as to whether it will continue.

  • Yes! You can bring your dog along for the walk as long as they are secured on a leash at all times, and you able to clean up after your dog.

  • There won’t be any lockers available on the day so just bring along what you can carry with you. We suggest not bringing valuables to the event if you can avoid it.

  • You can collect your bib and t-shirt (or buff) from the Registration marquee on the day.

  • Wear clothes and shoes that you will be able to comfortably walk 4km in. We suggest activewear and runners, but anything goes that you are comfortable in. Don’t forget your touch of pink!

  • Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend the event, whether or not you or your family have been affected by breast cancer. The walk is open to the whole community.

  • The event will include a 4km walk around Metcalfe Park followed by a family festival.

    The festival will include a BCNA Mini-Field of Women tribute area, live entertainment, BCNA merchandise, food vendors, children’s activities, wellness initiatives including massage, retail opportunities and a chill out zone.

    We will have two walk wave times – 10:00am and 10:30am.

    If you want to do two laps, 8km, please select the 10:00am wave time.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to use a pram during the event. We suggest you start towards the back of your wave to avoid congestion.

  • There is limited parking available at Metcalfe Park. We encourage everyone to use public transport.

    Train: Departs from Central Station to Town Hall Station regularly and operates 7 days a week. 1.5km walk from Town Hall Station.

    Light Rail: Departs from Central Station to The Star every 10 - 15 mins and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Bus: The State Transit Bus Route 389 regularly departs from City - Town Hall Park Street to Pirrama Road.

    Ferry: Operates 7 days a week from Wharf No. 5 at Circular Quay and stops at Pyrmont Bay.

  • Yes, please visit the BCNA Merchandise marquee for everything you’ll need to pink up your walk. Cash or credit card facilities will be accepted.

  • We have three wave times available on the day.

    9:45am - 8km power walk (for those who are a bit faster and want to do two laps of the 4km course)

    10:15am - 4km walk

    You can select any of these wave times when you register.

  • The first 1,000 adults to register will receive a complimentary event tee. All kids and dogs will receive the event buff. These can be collected from the Registration marquee.

  • Thank you for fundraising to support BCNA. If you have earned fundraising incentives you can collect these from the BCNA marquee.

  • Thank you for fundraising for BCNA. All funds raised will help BCNA support everyone affected by breast cancer.

  • There is a virtual option for anyone who can’t be in Sydney on the day. Select the virtual option when you register and walk in your local community to support BCNA.
